(October 19th, 2010)- Payments Company to provide 1099 reporting and statements for its clients by 2012.
The Payments Company announced today that it plans to provide 1099 reporting and statements for its clients by 2012. Starting in 2012 as part of the new health care reform bill, businesses will be required to send 1099 statements to each supplier that receives at least $600 in payments per year. The Payments Company will provide tax reporting for its clients in addition to printing and mailing the supplier statements. For more information on the new requirements, click here.
(June 15, 2010) TPC to study acceptance of credit cards for AP vendor payments
The Payments Company has initiated a study to determine vendor acceptance of credit card for payments made through the Accounts Payable (AP) process. The company plans to research at least 1000 vendors in various industries and make the summary results public on it’s website.
